KCAA-APPROVED · TRAINING · OPERATIONS · CONSULTANCY
We don't just train pilots.
We build compliant drone workflows.
Arc Ciel Africa Limited runs RPL training, commercial drone operations, aerial data services, import and customs consultancy, and schools outreach — all under one KCAA-approved standard, based at Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
What We Do
Operations, consultancy, and infrastructure — beyond the classroom.
Certification is the foundation, not the whole business. Every service below runs on the same KCAA-approved operations standard.

Commercial Operations
Infrastructure inspection, precision agriculture, disaster response, wildlife tracking, and aerial surveying, flown by our own certified crews.

Drone Importation & Customs
We manage the full import process — temporary or permanent — for individuals and organisations, fluent in Kenyan KCAA compliance from start to finish.

Maintenance & Support
Technical diagnostics, repairs, and hardware support to keep fleets airworthy — the operational longevity side of owning a drone.

Schools & Robotics Outreach
STEM mentorship that introduces young learners to robotics, coding, and aerospace, with a youth hobby licensing pathway for those who want to keep flying.

ICDL Digital Literacy
The International Digital Literacy Licence, delivered in partnership with ICDL — computer essentials, spreadsheets, digital marketing, cybersecurity, and AI basics, discounted for registered YACAfrica members.

Authorised Drone Reseller & Distributor
A KCAA-approved reseller and distributor for drone airframes, batteries, controllers, and accessories — sourced, warrantied, and set up for Kenyan operating conditions.

RPL Training Pathway
Five stages between you and a Remote Pilot Licence.
A 5-day ground school intensive, an in-house screening test, the official KCAA examination, five hours of supervised flight, and certification — each stage unlocks the next.
Ground School
Five-day intensive covering the 10 KCAA-mandated subjects — air law, meteorology, RPAS knowledge, navigation, radiotelephony, and more.
In-House Screening
An internal test patterned after KCAA standards. Score 70% or above, and your ACA instructor signs your KCAA Form-M-RPL 001.
KCAA Examination
Booked via the eCitizen portal. An 80-question composite paper plus English Language Proficiency and Oral Radiotelephony, sat at KCAA Aviation House.
Flight School
A minimum of five supervised flight hours, assessed across all eight ICAO competency areas under Competency-Based Training and Assessment.
RPL Certification
ACA manages processing and submission with KCAA to issue your licence, and facilitates your listing under an active Remote Operator Certificate.
Schools & Youth Programs
Robotics, coding, and drones — taught as one subject.
We run in-school programs that treat flight as applied robotics: students build, code, and fly, then see their work mapped onto real airspace rules. It's the same education-driven approach we bring to adult RPL training, scaled down to a classroom.
- Robotics & coding curriculum, taught on-site
- Youth hobby licensing pathway for interested students
- Built and delivered by KCAA-certified instructors
- Available as a term program or short workshop series
